Gum is very sensitive that is why flossing is not a simple oral hygiene to do. Dental floss is used to remove food particles inserted in between teeth and gums. Brushing every after meal can help remove bacteria especially on the tongue and on the roof of the mouth. Brushing of teeth twice daily can already get rid of the bacteria that develop fast. Tooth cleaning process is essential and flossing is very important because it can remove plaque on teeth and gum line. This is where periodontal disease begins. Proper treatment should be chosen as soon as possible to avoid progression of disease. Correct oral hygiene can help fight bacteria which are the cause of tooth decay and gum disease.
