With advances in technology the food packaging machine manufacturers are able to design and build more modular machines that have fewer parts and better controls. Technology has allowed them to designed and build robots that can perform more dangerous tasks and to perform the more repetitive tasks many times faster. Most food packaging machines are also designed now to be more easily integrated into existing food packaging lines. There has also been unprecedented innovation in the design of the controls for food packaging machines. Over the past few years controls have gotten better by being smarter, faster, and more compact.
